First penned in "looking-glass writing", the Florentine genius of the Renaissance era had written also that he would organize his collection of notes later, by subject. He died before taking on that task. Leonardo da Vinci had begun his notes of March 1508, explaining his method of composition. His records extended over 40 years; and 400 years later, the scholarship of Edward MacCurdy presented them. This is possibly a book club edition, as there is no jacket pricing or edition notation.
