W. Swan Sonnenschein and Co., 1883. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1883. No Edition Remarks. 244 pages. No dust jacket. Mauve cloth with gilt decoration to front board and spine. Front free endpaper is missing. Gilt text block edges. Contains black and white illustrated plates. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to half title page, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Minor dog-eared corners. Slight cracking to hinges and gutters, with exposed netting. Binding remains mostly firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Water mark on rear board.
