Text of Northanger Abbey commences on the Next Page and continues to Page 212. Then Persuasion has its own Printed Title Page and continues the Pagination to 440. Contemporary Black Calf Half-Leather Binding with Marbled Paper-covered Boards (Combed Pattern) and Leather Corners. 6 Horizontal Gilt Lines divide the spine into compartments, the 2nd having Gilt Title on Maroon Leather Ground. 6 3/4" Tall, 400g. Some edge wear, a few small scrapes to leather and some rubbing to boards (see photos). Hinges sound & Binding firm. Previous owner's name at top of illustrated title page, no other inscriptions. A little very faint foxing on illustrated paged. Text pages in very good, clean condition. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Half-Leather. Near Very Good. Book.
