Toronto: The Macmillan Company of Canada Limited, 1957. Hardcover. Very Good +/very good. The North West Company was a precursor to the Hudson's Bay Company. Tight binding. No chips, tears, creases on pages. Previous owner's name on front pastedown endpaper. Endpapers are maps showing the "Principal Trading Stations of the North West Company". Dust jacket is NOT price-clipped. Jacket has a few tears, creases and a chip around edges; largest tear being 1.25" in length. Green coverboards with gilt lettering on the spine. Contains illustrations/maps. Size: 8vo (8" to 9"). 295 pp.
