New York: Harcourt Brace, 1938. First Edition. Hard Cover. First US Edition. Illustrated with a photographic frontispiece and with end-papers and chapter headings by Charles A Lindbergh. First edition, first issue of the Author's first book being a travel narrative of the Lindbergh's 1931 flight in their seaplane "Sirius" from Maine to Japan via the Great Circle Route. Some darkening to the paste-downs otherwise a fine copy in a very nearly fine D/W. Signed by the Author's youngest daughter - Reeve Lindbergh - on the title page

Synopsis

Born in Englewood, N.J. in 1906, Anne Morrow married Charles Lindbergh in 1929, two years after his transatlantic flight. She is the author of many books, including Gift from the Sea and Listen! The Wind, and five volumes of diaries and letters, among them Bring Me a Unicorn and Hour of Gold, Hour of Lead. Mrs. Lindbergh is the recipient of countless honors and awards, including the Hubbard Medal of the National Geographic Society.
