Octavo; publisher's green cloth-backed gilt-lettered boards; ix,[1],137pp. Frontis with tissue guard. Boards a bit scuffed with brief exposure at corners, small ink spot to upper cover as well as previous owner's faint ownership signature along bottom margin, textblock a bit toned, else a Very Good, internally clean and sound copy.
Signed by the author on front free endpaper and dated "Meadville March 1924," where Frost had given a lecture and reading for the Quill Club at the Ford Memorial Chapel on the Allegheny College campus (see "Robert Frost Imbues Spirit of New England in Audience" in The Campus of Allegheny College newspaper, March 25, 1924).
