GOOD book in GOOD price-clipped dust jacket Light-blue cloth-bound boards with gold type to spine, map endpapers, full-colour frontispiece (RMS Caronia, 1949), over 50 b&w photographic plates, 150 Isherwood line drawings (of uniform scale 1" to:50ft), appendices, corrigenda, index to companies, and index to ships. 'North Atlantic Seaway' is the most comprehensive book on its subject ever published. Each of its 182 chapters deals in detail with a North Atlantic shipping company. At least seventeen of them have nrever previously been mentioned in any book, and many more which have received scant attention, are here described in full. An outstanding reference work.
