1921: Oxford at the clarendon Press, 1921. (1st edition, 1st printing). Hardbound. GOOD+. Not a reprint. Navy blue cloth with crisp, gilt lettering and design on spine. Frame-like edge on front and back covers. Rough cut page edges. Tight, faint age tanning to pages, light age soil to exterior, with faint tanning to spine, slight inward curl to cover corners. Softened spine ends with 2 tiny rips at top. Two single drips of candlewax on front cover. Translation of the sagas; discussion of the history and interpretation of them through the years, genealogy, chronology and occasional voyage maps. 304 indexed, illustrated pages including Bibliography.
