Bookplate signed by the author laid in.
The follow-up novel to the author's The Exorcist, but actually a rewrite of his second novel Twinkle, Twinkle "Killer" Kane! (Doubleday, 1966), which Blatty adapted, produced, and directed himself as the 1980 film of the same title starring Stacey Keach, and for which Blatty won the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay.
