A "...breathless international spy story..." by John Leslie Palmer (1885-1944), who shared the pseudonym with various collaborators (Hubin, p. 28); the seventh title in the "Colonel Alastair Granby" series..This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition (stated). Not common. Green cloth binding with titling in yellow on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 291 pages. Light toning; dark stain along bottom edge; large spot or stain on the rear cover. The striking dustjacket is complete, but shows wear at the margins, with chipping and closed tears. In an archival plastic protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good (Minus). 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
