Covers remain bright, though just a little soiled. Volume remains tight with clean contents.

The binding is somewhat shaken, with cracking at many of the signatures, but the hinges are sound. The bottom and front edges show evidence of foxing. Many pages have small foxing spots. . In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some occasional light spotting to the endpapers and title page. Very Good
