Sauk City, Wisconsin: Arkham House, 1947. Black cloth (hardcover) in mylar protected dust-jacket. Limited 1/3000 copies. x, 237 pages; jacket by Ronald Clyne. Leiber's first Arkham collection and the first Arkham title to be sold to the paperback publishers, Ballantine Books. A clean, tight copy in a lightly rubbed, unclipped ($3.00) jacket. Rear jacket panel shows some expected toning and the rubbing is most pronounced along jacket edges. Remains a collector grade, price intact copy of an early Arkham title. Size: Octavo. First Edition.. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good.
