Presentation copy from the authors, though not signed, "Professor F.E. Fritsch, with the authors compliments". A manuscript taxonomic change has also been added internally in the same hand. Felix Eugen Fritsch was a British biologist best known for his work on algae. With the later stamps of the botanist Eric Groves on both covers. [With a copy of G. Tuley's "Nothofagus in Britain", 1980, Forestry Commission, 26 pages.]. First Edition thus. Paperback. Good.
