Publisher's red cloth with gilt lettering. Boards a bit edgeworn and dulled, with some soiling down spine and rubbing at extremities. Gilt lettering to spine rubbed away and dulled, but text just still legible. Endpapers toned. Some shallow foxing in top margin of a few pages, with sparse marginal checks and notes in pencil throughout. Publisher's review slip with stamped Dec. 9 1932 publication date laid in.
