Pencil writing inside front cover and endpaper, rear endpapers have pencil writing, rubbings of quarters and pen name. Contains song "Jim Crow" as sung by Mr. Rice. Thomas D. Rice was a white minstrel singer who performed in blackface. The performances of this song by Rice are the origins of the phrase "Jim Crow."
