Handsomely quarterbound in publisher's black (spine) and red (boards) cloth; red lettering to spine; black Potter illus of said new neighbor debossed to front board. Slipcase covered w black cloth. Endpapers bear identical b&w photo of human female body with bat's head. [Viii] pp prelim material, 280 numbered pp, plus six not numbered to end, plus seven glossy photo leaves inserted throughout. One of a limited of 500 copies, signed by both author Garton and illustrator Potter at colophon; this one marked 'pc' (publisher's copy). Illus bookplate verso front free endpaper reveals this copy to be from the library of Stanley Wiater, three time winner of the Bram Stoker Award, author, television host; title page bears a red ink inscription (likely Wiater's) with an arrow pointing to Potter's name, "who gave me this." An association copy of erotic horror. CONDITION NOTES: Very good with VG slipcase, some rubbing apparent to the case. Binding solid and square; pages clean and, other than those already noted, no notes, highlighting or inscriptions. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
