Type: Hardback Hardcover Book in Very Good Condition with a Good Vintage Dust Jacket protected in an archival. sleeve. Small stamp "Wahl's Library' on upper corner of loose endpaper, assumed to be from former owner's library. No public or school library marks, stamps or tags. May be book club edition but no indication it is so--price clipped jacket would indicate it is not. Book is in really nice condition in gray cloth over spine with red lettering and decoration; forest green cloth boards, very clean, sharp corners, whisper of corner wear. Binding tight and solid, all hinges intact. A story of three generations of a New England whaling family. 277 pages. 8.5 x 5.75 inches. 1958, Random House, New York.
