New York and London: Grove Press, Inc.; Evergreen Books Ltd, 1961. First printing. Paperback. Very good. 64pp. Slim octavo [20.5 cm] Illustrated wraps. The wraps are mildly age-toned, creased, and scratched. In 1953, Michael McClure settled in San Francisco, where his poems were published in a number of little magazines, and where he grew to be associated with the "San Francisco Renaissance." According to Allen Ginsberg, "McClure's poetry is a blob of protoplasmic energy.
