About This Item

Dark blue cloth, titles stamped in gilt on the spine and in a brown panel on the front board: fore edge and preliminary leaves moderately foxed. In the illustrated dust jacket, price clipped: Spine a bit soiled and head chipped. Commentary on the impact of President Roosevelt and the New Deal around the world. The John Farleigh dust jacket illustration is a marvel of dynamic activity: coils bursting with electricity, gears churning, wind gusting.
