The most comprehensive narrative of the American Revolution written specifically for the general public. It covers every aspect of the Revolutionary struggle, dealing with the Congress, the states, the British Parliament and British public opinion, the actions and feelings of the colonists, soldiers, Tories, women, blacks, and Indians.
