Blue endpapers and light blue top page edges. Book is an attractive half faux leather with red cloth at spine and white front cover embossed with a gold seal and gold border. Very straight clean book with no bumped corners, marks, stamps or names. Nineteen maps of campaigns, battles and sieges. The most comprehensive narrative of the American Revolution written specifically for the general public. It covers every aspect of the Revolutionary struggle, dealing with the Congress, the states, the British Parliament and British public opinion, the actions and feelings of the colonists, soldiers, Tories, women, blacks, and Indians.
