Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1991. Cloth. Good/Good. First printing, with a 1 in the number line. Purple paper covered boards with a mustard yellow cloth binding. In unclipped jacket. 67 pp. With a review slip from the author's following book (The Glass Hammer), bearing a lengthy personal inscription from Andrew Hudgins (signed) to a friend and apparent fellow poet. The Never-Ending was a finalist for the National Book Award, and contains dark imagery reflecting on various topics. GOOD condition. Uneven fading along the jacket extremities, with some creasing and wrinkling, minor scuffing and soiling. Some bumping and wrinkling along the extremities. Moderate fading to the book extremities, with minor bumping and rubbing. Interior clean and solid.
