Outer corners moderately bumped and rubbed. Moderate bump and creasing to about 5 pages on front bottom corner. 4 cm x 4 cm chip to bottom corner of front free end paper and title page. Mild spotting throughout. Pencil inscriptions to back end papers. Ex library bookplate to inside of front board. Ex library circulation slip to back free end paper. Cracks to both end papers at hinges. Cracks to front of boards at hinges. || Volume 2: 1 cm chip across head of spine. Mild rubbing to outer edges of boards. Moderate soiling and rubbing to boards. 4 cm prominent ink stain to front cover. Outer corners moderately bumped and rubbed. Previous owner's name inscribed in ink on top of title page.
