This book discusses the papacy, the origins of church offices, and gives significant to certain figures that helped establish the hierarchy of church fathers and liturgical practices – Alexander Monro, John Sage, and Saint Ignatius, Saint Ambrose, Robert Bellarmine, Jerome, Polycarp, and many others.
This first edition book is exceedingly rare with no examples of auction records having this work being sold. Very rare!
