A volume from the Natural History of New York, published in 1842. Ex-library copy with usual stamps, markings and cards. Dark brown Buckram cover as shown with this listing is rubbed, bumped and chipped. Blind embossing on front and back cover, gilt stamping on front board and spine. Binding is intact, text is mottled, tanned and cockled and shows signs of water damage. Previous owner (donator to the library) signature on front free endpaper. 24pp front matter, 540pp text and 8 single black & white plates.
