Contains the articles "Scientific Work in Unsettled China" by Roy Chapman Andrews - who led an exciting life and is said to have served as the inspiration for the Hollywood character Indiana Jones (ref. Roy Chapman Andrews Society) and, "Brittany Four Thousand Years Ago" by Henry Fairfield Osborn, an American geologist and paleontologist who served as the President of The American Museum of Natural History for 25 years. Side stapled printed wraps, 8vo (9-13/16 inches tall), pp. [193], 196-288, illustrated with maps, line drawings and B&W photo reproductions. Volume with spine mostly perished, thin tone lines to outer edges of front cover, else clean and unmarked. A single issue with additional articles including 'Hunting with a Camera', 'The Wood Bison of Canada', 'The Agriculture Museum', etc.
