See scans and description. Washington, DC: The National Geographic Society,1930. The September, 1930 issue, Volume LVIII, Number Three. Quarto, perfect-bound wraps, 128 numbered pages, plus 40 pages of those very engaging vintage ads at the beginning and end (24 at the beginning, 16 at the end), all of those of the irreplaceable vintage stylings; 168 pp total. 24 of those are with full color phoographs. Plenty of both color and black and white photos herein; ads, at this time, were all b&w. See summary of illustrations on cover scan. Very Good; light dust at top page edges, very small abrasion on back cover (scan); and...that's about it. Complete spine. See all scans. A nice grade, for the time and for such a scarce issuue; hard to replace. See all scans. In sealed protection, on premises, ready to ship. Inside are pieces on Jugoslavia (Yugoslavia) Ten Years After/ Rustic Life; Philippines Unexplored; Great Barrier Reef and Isles. Classic Parker Pen ad, on the back cover. And, as noted, plenty of other vintage ads inside - those being, somehow, always among my favorites offerings from NG. Scarcer issue than many others of the era, particularly in this condition. Ships in a new, sturdy, protective box, of course. LNG6
