About This Item

Washington, DC: National Geographic Society , 2016. 1st Edition 2nd Printing. Soft cover. New. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. New; perfect. See scans and description. Washington, DC: National Geographic Society, 2016. The 2016 issuance 'National Geographic Exploring Space - Journeys to the Edge of the Universe', after the 2012 original publishing. Quarto, illustrated perfect-bound wraps, 128 pp. New, and absolutely squeaky pristine, in every way. This example is so nice it almost has an attitude. Archived immediately upon acquisition; even the loose-laid NGS offer cards remain inside, untouched. See all scans. Possibly the most exciting and engaging topic that the Society could possible do a special production on - as an ongoing habit, one hopes. Sumptuous photography provides a visual feast of astrophotography that leaves one holding ones breath, and the text is, of course, as expert as NGS text always is. A near-future - or current - collectible, especially in this literally perfect condition. Ships in a new, sturdy, protective box, of course - not a bag. LPR22
