London: Longman, Green, Longman, Roberts and Green, 1863. First edition (hardback). 8vo (26cm by 16cm), xv, 527pp. Folding frontispiece. Original quarter brown cloth, dark green boards, gilt titling to the spine. This books was formerly in a reference library, with occasional stamps and labels, there is a crease to the upper part of the front board, there is some rubbing and light scuffing of the binding, and the preliminary pages are browned. Overall, this book is just about in good condition. Part of the Rerum Britannicarum Medii Aevi Scriptores series, or Chronicles and Memorials of Great Britain and Ireland during the Middle Ages.
