Largely based on Hall's own manuscripts.In addition to exploration, the purpose of the voyage was to solve the mystery of the disappeared Franklin expedition -- to no avail. However, Hall was able to provide a lot of information about Inuit living.Condition of this book:Very clean, foxing, mostly to preliminary leaves. Very sound in library binding. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
