Washington: Government Printing Office. Green cloth with gilt sledge party cover decoration and gilt spine titles. Lacking the frontispiece portrait of Captain Hall. Frontispiece steel engraving of the Polaris present, with foxing. All other engravings and maps present. Moderate wear to covers. Interior is clean and unmarked. Hinges slightly loose and with some separation, but still a fairly solid copy of this very large, heavy book. . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1876.
