Gyldendalske Boghandels Forlag (F. Hegel & Son), 1899. Hardcover. Very Good. First Edition. 1899. In Original Danish. Original Binding. Very Good condition for age. Red cloth boards with light erosion, some bumping on spine and bottom corner on rear board (corner is slightly bent inward, towards text block). Small pin-prick-sized tear where spine meets front board. Gilt stamping in very good condition, little to no tarnishing. Light rubbing, some soiling. All gilt edges on text block. Gold endpapers with small tears on inside joint of front endpapers. 1.25-inch tear on joint of rear endpapers, with some smaller tears. Some pen marks on front flyleaf. Light foxing on front matter, prior owner's inscription, dated 1899, and small ink mark on otherwise blank page. Light blue ribbon bookmark slightly fading. Some creasing near spine on some interior pages (text is unaffected), some minor soiling. Foxing on reverse of rear fly leaf. Binding is tight. Text is unmarked.
