Black and white illustration plates throughout text and similar frontispiece. Illustrated by the author. Pages bright and clean with slight tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Dedication to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have minimal shelf wear with only mild wear to corners. Spine sunned and with mild crushing top and bottom. Gilt lettering remains bright and clear.
