About This Item
UsedGood. Undated but likely c. 1900. Blue cloth illustrated boards - this copy features an illustration of a man in a turban pointing a gun. Cover noticeably shelfworn with age - corners bumped, fraying to edges throughout. Spine starting to fade. Page edges were likely once gilted, but are a duller gold color now. Binding cracked but all pages remain intact. Remnants from previous torn-out bookplate on front endpaper, with previous owner's name handwritten. Light foxing and yellowing to page edges. Text clean and unmarked. Good reading copy of a turn-of-the-century book.
