Pocket glued to rear free endpaper. 1/4" horizontal closed tear mid page fore edge half-title. A solid, tight copy.

Elaborate silver gilt title and border on front cover, silver printing on spine. Title page mentions Doyle as author of "Study in Scarlet Etc. " No frying, no marks, no names, hinges tight, just a touch of rubbing at corners.
