Hardback, 1928, first UK edition, illustrated, published by William Heinemann, London, 122 pages.
Measures around 8 3/8" by 5 1/4" by 3/4". Beige paper on card binding, black cloth spine with gilt lettering. Marking, scuffing and discolouration to boards. Signs of shelf-wear, rubbing and slight tearing at edges, bumped and torn corners. Binding reasonably firm, though cracking to textblock towards centre. Page edges deckled and opened, reasonably neatly cut although a little rough on lower edges. Page edges browned, scuffed and marked. Some foxing to endpapers, the odd bit of foxing and marking to page surfaces but mostly clean, with no underlining, inscriptions, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
