About This Item

First American edition, octavo, pp. 272 plus colophon. Illustrations. This copy complete with the uncommon three panel fold-out Byron family tree at rear. The story of Byron's half-sister, who was the poet's great love and a most compelling force in his life. A handsome volume with attractive sienna-colored end-papers, VERY GOOD in the publisher's gilt-lettered brown cloth spine over brown boards with blind-embossed upper board lettering. Dust jacket GOOD and ensconced in a protective sheet or archival mylar.
