Series of illustrated letters written by an officer of the 5th Royal Gurkha rifles to his teenage brother Walter, together with pages from his sketchbook depicting life in his regiment. 60pp illustrated with drawings and black and white photographs. Gilt lettering to spine, top edges tinted. Boards very slightly bowed, otherwise very good copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ has minor edgewear and tiny nick to corner, otherwise very good..
