About This Item
London: T. Fisher Unwin, 1913 8vo. original black cloth gilt (spine titling sunned with minor rubbing to extremities, lower hinge just starting, prev. owner's name to front pastedown, a few spots to outer leaves and edges, else clean & bright throughout); pp. i-xiv, 15-284 (last colophon), [2 (advt., last blank)], with 74 illustrations. A very good copy. [Neate T71: Turner was a mountaineer whose travels included Siberia, South America and New Zealand. His bombastic style spoils his books and detracts from his not inconsiderable climbing achievements.]. Second Impression. Hard Cover. VG+.
