The boards are warped with the paper peeling, spine is illegible with very little of the gold gilt present. There is foxing and writing to end pages both front and back. The pages have sustained water damage but are fully readable and all are present. "Entered according to act of Congress, in the year 1848, by the American Sunday-School Union, In the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania." READING COPY
