New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1966. First Edition. First Edition. First printing, with error on page 46 as called for. INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpaper: "To Ella Scull / with best wishes / John Updike."

Very Good plus in a Very Good plus dust jacket. Faintly foxed on the first five leaves and page edges. Jacket lightly faded on the spine panel, with brief rubbing at the corners.

Synopsis
