Next to his inscription, Updike has drawn an aprx 2 x 2 inch merry Santa face and "Ho Ho" in a word balloon with two holly leaves. Board cloth with beginning extremity toning, small rub bottom edge of the rear board and one page with a corner crease; dustjacket with corners and spine ends touched and very light rubbing on the rear panel. Very Good condition in a Very Good dustjacket with an archival cover.. Inscribed with Drawing by Author. First Edition. Hardcovers. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
