8vo, black cloth with gilt titles, 86pp. Unclipped dust jacket (1.25). Second American Edition, First Thus, with note of January 1936 note of revision stated opposite copyright page. Ownership signature to front endpaper, and discreetly to title page, else unmarked. Toning to pages, endpapers. Dust jacket sunned at spine with a few chips to edges, closed tear to front panel at head of spine. Panels age toned. Eliot's famous dramatization of the medieval murder of Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury. A handsome copy in mylar.
