About This Item

Good plus to very good condition hardback book in like dust wrapper. No owner's inscriptions. Minor storage wear / dust to the edges. A very collectable example of this scarce book recounting the 1967 murder of young Christine Darby and the subsequent trial of Raymond Morris. The case formed part of a trio known as the 'Cannock Chase Murders' of three young girls. Morris was convicted only of the murder of Christine Darby but a police spokesman at the time said they believed he was responsible for all three killings as well as the attempted abduction of another girl. He died in prison in 2014. Please note that our image shows the book you will receive and is not just a stock photograph.
