Very Fine/Very Fine. 8vo, black quarter cloth with gold lettering on spine over gray boards, archival mylar-protected orange and white lettered dust jacket (unclipped) with background spangled photo of Mozart, orange endpapers, [x] + 160 pages. John Anthony Burgess Wilson, FRSL (1917 - 1993), who published as "Anthony Burgess," was an English writer and composer. His dystopian satire A Clockwork Orange remains his best-known novel Burgess also composed over 250 musical works and considered himself as much a composer as an author. His remarkable rmusical, dramatic, and linguistic abilities make his "paean" to Mozart a significant commentary. EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION: Very Fine book and dust jacket (unclipped). No remainder marks.
