(London: George Newnes, no date [ca 1930]). Five 8vo volumes, each of brown cloth, lettered in gilt on spine; pp. viii + 308, viii + [309-612] + 16, vii + (i) + [613-884], viii + [885-1172], incl. index, viii + 280, incl. index. Each volume liberally illustrated with diagrams, photographs and charts, including fold-outs. Four of the books have colour layered diagrams to the front endpapers, illustrating components in detail (Stromberg Pump Type Carburetter, Rotax Cut-Out, Lucas Magneto, B.T.-H. Magneto, Talbot Facia Board, Austin Twelve Transmission). Light wear to extremities; occasional fox spots. Very good condition. "A Comprehensive, Practical and Authoritative Guide for the Owner-Driver, Mechanic and Garage Proprietor." Date of publication undetermined, but various examples of completed garage forms in the final volume offer dates in 1930. .
