No inscription or annotations, cracked hinge, staining to many pages and along edges of text block, tanned throughout, tear to page v., page iii and iv. absent. Appreciable shelf wear to boards with staining to both front and back, spine strip intact, printing on both boards partially rubbed out through use (see scans).
