Doubleday, 1952-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Signed. Inscribed (to Kansas poet Irma Wassall) and SIGNED by Kenneth Davis on the front endpaper. The volume is bumped at the spine ends, has a faint discoloration at the top of the rear panel (corresponding to same on jacket), and the endpapers and pastedowns are lightly toned. The uniformly corner clipped dust jacket (price of $3.95 is intact), protected in a sleeve, is rubbed and lightly chipped at the spine ends (to 1 depth of 1/8" on the crown), and has light moisture stains on the spine crown and top edge of the rear panel.
