About This Item
New York: The Macmillan Company, 1935. Lennox Robinson (1886-1958), an Irish poet and dramatist, became Manager of Dublin's Abbey Theatre in 1909 and was responsible for many of the great plays produced there. This is a Near Fine copy of the First American Edition, a scarce title. Included are two plays: "Alls Over, Then?" and "Church Street." With the production dates and cast lists. Maroon cloth binding with paper spine label. Clean text; 166 pages. There is a lengthy inscription from "Hamlet" (dated 1942) on the FFEP. Slight sun to the very top of the spine. else a Fine copy, very fresh. The scarce dustjacket is present, with stamped two-dollar price intact. Hardly any edgewear, but there is a sizeable chip to the head of the spine, affecting the title. In an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Half-Leather. Near Fine/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
