New York: Grosset and Dunlap by arrangement with A. & C. Boni, 1927. Hardback. Good. 8vo.. [192?] New edition, originally published in US by A. & C. Boni in 1925. 8vo, pp. [x], [310]. Black buckram with red stamped lettering and green stamped flag motif to spine and upper board. Red and black toy soldier vignette to title page. Slight lean to spine. Spine sunned, with ends and corners lightly bruised. Tobacco-browned edges. POI to ffep � Dear Maurice/ With best wishes/ for Xmas/ 1927./ From Westie' � and ex libris to front pastedown. Mull showing between a few signatures, but binding holding firm. Else, clean, and bright. A good+ copy of the Grosset and Dunlap reprint of the second novel in Ford's Tietjens series. Worldcat lists publication date as 1928, however, the PO dedication to the ffep is dated Christmas 1927.
