"THE EYE THAT NEVER SLEEPS..."

For anyone interested in Secret Societies and especially the Masons', this is the definitive book on the subject—containing a large compendium of their history and inner workings—considered by many to be one of the most iconic and legendary manuscripts ever created. Although many out there were printed between 1930 and 1965, this is an authentic date-stamped 1919 Southern Jurisdiction edition, and to top it off, it's in the finest condition I have ever seen.
This book is an 861-page volume of writings on the esoteric roots of Freemasonry, specifically the Scottish Rite. A book of esoteric philosophy published by the Supreme Council, Thirty Third Degree, of the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction of the United States. It was compiled by Albert Pike.

Morals & Dogma is Albert Pikes' 861-page volume of 'lectures' on the esoteric roots of Freemasonry, specifically the 32-degree Scottish Rite. Until 1964, this book was given to every Mason completing the 14th degree in the Southern Jurisdiction of the US Scottish Rite Freemasons. Masonic lectures are standard oral presentations given during initiation to a new degree. Lectures provide background material for initiates and discuss duties of the degree in general terms. Whether you just browse these pages or study it from one end to the other, this is a must-read book for anyone looking for long-lost knowledge.

The overall condition of this book is very good, especially considering how old it is. It does contain the normal wear one would expect to find from a book that is now over 70 years old. The covers are nice but do have some small scratches, dings, etc. The interior is tight to the spine with no missing pages. The lower rear cover has a small ding near the bottom. Overall a very nice book with normal wear.
